About Will County Dental Society

The Will County Dental Society was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation under the laws of the State of Illinois on 16, 1960.

The mission of the Organization is to encourage the improvement of the dental health of the public and to promote the art and science of dentistry, to represent the members of the Will County Dental Society through communication, education, action and to establish camaraderie with our colleagues and among our allied dental personnel.

In the fall of 1994, the Will County Dental Society and its dentist members partnered with the Will Grundy Clinic to provide urgentcare services to the citizens of Will County. The 157 members of the Dental Society continue to support the efforts of the Will Grundy Medical Clinic and the uninsured population it serves through donations of time, services, equipment and supplies.

In 2005, the members of the Dental Society reviewed its participation in National Children’s Dental Health month, which historically was limited to education. Will County elected to start participating in “Give Kids A Smile,” an annual observance by the on the first Friday in February. This evolution has given the children of Will County another point of and hopefully a permanent dental home for the future.
